ORSET ACADEMY
With its experience in coducting coaching classes and as part of its commitment to motivate rural youths to make a career in Government / State Civil Service jobs, ORSET felt an ardent need for a permanent facility to offer coaching for competitive exams. Accordingly, a "Coaching Centre for Competitive Examinations " was established in ORSET's building at Adichapuram village, near Mannargudi and it was formally inaugurated by Mr. V. Sadasivam, MA., MBA., CAIIB., Regional Manager, State Bank of India, Thanjavur on 12 May 2014

ORSET HOME FOR THE AGED
The long cherished-dream of ORSET to set up a "Home for the Aged" has finally been realised.
The 2000 sq. ft. building with modern facilities located at Adichapuram village ,Mannargudi Tk,Thiruvarur Dt., was formally inaugurated by our Chief Guest Mr. K.Anandakumar B.Com,ACA.,CAIIB.,General Secretary- IOB Officers' Association., on 12 May 2014.
The Home plans to induct 25 Senior Citizens from all walks of life to ensure that they can live in dignity.
The facility is situtated in a location surrounded by lush green area, fresh air and ecologically healthy atmosphere offering comfortable living accomodation meeting basic amenities, enough open spaces with tree lined paths and a garden, common recreation and dining room for senior citizens to meet a balanced diet, activities with inmate-community participation, library and some intellectual activity, space to meet relatives.

NOTE: Due to administrative reasons, the Home for the Aged is currently non functional. Plans are underway to convert it into a Day Care Center.
